Workforce Training

RCC’s Workforce Training is southern Oregon’s premier provider of business, industry, and employment training. Our programs support a wide variety of work-based and employment development services for displaced and incumbent workers to skill up for job placement or career advancement. We specialize in developing customized training that meets the needs of local employers with the quality they expect.

Our current program offerings span career areas such as: commercial truck driving, dental assistant, landscape technician, medical transcription, welding and apprenticeship. These programs focus on job-related skills, are completed within a few weeks to a few months, and may lead directly to employment placement or advancement.

We provide short-term skills training for industry-specific certifications in subject areas such as forklift, flagger, adult and high school driver’s training and Oregon OSHA, that are completed in a hands-on setting with modern equipment and trade-experienced instructors. Most training is offered for no credit, although approved continuing education units (CEUs) may apply.

Our customized training is built to meet your needs as an employer or business owner. We help you assess your training needs and develop a training event that will meet your work schedule and skill improvement objectives. Our customized training encompasses a multitude of topics to include: business training, computer training, management and leadership training, safety training, sustainability training, lean philosophy, team building and many more.

We provide training in Jackson and Josephine counties at locations in Medford (RCC Riverside campus), Grants Pass (RCC Redwood campus) and White City (RCC Table Rock campus).
