Steps for New Students

  1. Please sign up for a time and campus for your New Student Orientation (NSO).
  2. If you have not attended a First Term Advising Session sign up here: First Term Advising Sessions.
  3. New student registration opens May 15, 2026.

If you have made an appointment for personal counseling, you will need to complete our required New Client Forms prior to your appointment time.

Please note that the Counseling Center is open Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. when the College is open (please refer to the Academic Calendar for RCC closures).
