Degree Partnerships
Considering taking courses at two schools at once? Here’s what you need to know.
- Students can receive federal/state aid from one institution at a time.
- If you’re planning on attending two schools at one time and seeking financial aid for the combined credits, request a Degree Partnership with your HOME school.
- Credits at both schools need to apply toward the student’s major at the HOME school.
How do I request a DPP if RCC is my HOME school?
RCC is an educational partner with the following “OFAX” schools:
- Southern Oregon University (SOU)
- Oregon State University (OSU)
- Lane Community College (LCC)
- Linn-Benton Community College (LBCC)
- Oregon Health and Sciences University (OHSU)
When one of these schools is HOST, submit a Degree Partnership Program - OFAX form to a FinAid Advisor by the first week of term to allow for processing time prior to payment.
If the HOST school is not an “OFAX” school, submit a Degree Partnership Program - other form.
Tips for a successful DPP:
- Review the form you’re submitting thoroughly. Incomplete forms will delay processing and potentially jeopardize funding.
- If you do not meet the criteria listed on the form for RCC to be your HOME school, check with the other school to see if they can be your HOME school. If so, complete their required paperwork.
- You must complete a new DPP form each term you plan to dual enroll with RCC as your HOME institution.
- The most efficient way to return the completed form is to your FinAid Advisor by email or submit it in person to a FinAid Advisor at Rogue Central.
