Financial Aid Agencies
A number of community agencies provide educational-related funding to qualified individuals (unemployed, under-employed, dislocated, etc.) to support educational training/re-training. Examples include, but are not limited to:
- The Job Council
- Employment Department
- Vocational Rehabilitation and Veteran’s Administration
If you think you may qualify for agency educational benefits we encouraged you to make inquiry to the appropriate agency. Completed agency vouchers may be submitted to Financial Aid for processing. For Financial Aid purposes, agency resources are estimated until and unless the value is otherwise documented and are considered a contribution to a student’s budgetary cost of attendance, thus potentially offsetting student loan or campus-based (Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant and Federal Work Study) eligibility.
