Help Finding a Job

RCC Student Employment Services (SES)
SES provides students with resources and tools to develop professional job application materials, locate and apply for on- and off-campus employment, and navigate successful career transitions into the workforce.

RCC Career Counseling
RCC Counselors support students though their career development - a lifelong process that involves developing skills, interests and values that are influenced by preferences, priorities, personalities and many other factors.

Filing for Unemployment
COVID-19 has had a decided impact on our economy, and the employment of many of our students. Information on filing for unemployment can be found here: Oregon Unemployment Insurance.

The Oregon Employment Department provides helpful information about unemployment insurance and links to file your claim.
Training Unemployment Insurance (TUI) allows eligible dislocated workers attend school and receive Unemployment Insurance benefits at the same time so they can continue to care for their families and obtain employment. The program does not pay for the training, but removes the work search requirements from your weekly claims while you attend school full-time. If you need help filling out the TUI form, contact Financial Aid.

WorkSource Oregon
provides helpful links for job seekers and employment services.

WorkSource Rogue Valley
Our local WSRV is the starting place for Imatch and unemployment services as well as TUI and they hold the contract for WIOA as well as a STEP program.

Jobs Opportunity and Basic Skills (JOBS)
This program is the state's employment and training program for low-income families on Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF).
