The nursing profession necessitates a profound commitment to integrity, ethical conduct, and emotional resilience. Registered nurses play a crucial role in observing and assessing the conditions of their patients, administering prescribed medications and treatments as directed by physicians or nurse practitioners, and collaborating closely with the healthcare team, including physicians and other staff members. Moreover, nurses are responsible for guiding and overseeing nursing support personnel.

In hospital settings, nurses work in specialized units like medical or post-surgical units, or focusing on specific areas such as surgery or intensive care. Additionally, nurses may specialize in caring for distinct patient groups, such as children, the elderly or individuals with disabilities.
