Nikki has worked in high school education for 12 years as a volleyball coach and with Special and Alternative education. Nikki started working at RCC in the Veterans Services Department in 2009. Nikki became the Director of Veterans Services in 2019, and, in 2022, she became the Director of Advising & Military Services. As a Military Coordinator, Nikki has been an academic advisor to student veterans for about ten years. Nikki is thrilled to be a part of the RCC Advising team. She has a real passion for working with students in higher education. She enjoys assisting, encouraging, and educating students to succeed in their degree and advance to their career goals. Nikki is the first in her family to receive a Master’s in Business Administration.
Nikki enjoys her dogs, cats, and chickens. She loves traveling, hiking, camping, biking, and playing Pickleball. She is a Star Wars fan and enjoys a good mystery/suspense book. Nikki also has a passion for the people in the slums of Nairobi, Kenya, as she traveled to Africa several times to participate in home visits, teach, and assist in creating home occupations.
