Campus Security
Campus Security can be notified of all criminal activity and emergency situations on campus:
- Campus Security at the Redwood Campus may be reached 24 hours per day 7 days per week via cell phone at 541-218-2930.
- Campus Security at the Riverside Campus may be reached between 7am and 11pm Monday – Friday, and from 7am – 7pm on Saturday via cell phone at 541-218-2931.
- Campus Security at the Table Rock Campus may be reached between 7am and 10:30pm Monday – Friday and between 7am and 7pm on Saturday via cell phone at 541-218-3639.
Mental Health Resources
Counseling at RCC
During Counseling Center hours, a student can call and meet with a trained therapist.

Employee Assistance Plan (EAP)
All* RCC employees are eligible for Employee Assistance Program (EAP) services, like counseling, administered through Canopy. EAP services are always confidential. To access the EAP call toll-free, 800-433-2320 or see the Summary of Services resource for more details and instructions on how to access services online.
*Exception: Student employees have access to counseling via the Counseling Center rather than the EAP.

Nationally-Based Resources
There are nationally based resources available to victims of sexual harassment and sexual violence.
- Rape, Abuse, and Incest National Network (RAINN): Hosts 24/7 national hotline and a confidential national online chat system 24/7.
- 800-656-HOPE (4673) (24/7 hotline)
- 1in6: A partnership with RAINN, hosts a national online chat system for men who were sexually abused or assaulted.
- National Domestic Violence Hotline: Hosts 24/7 national hotline and texting hotline for survivors of domestic violence to reach out and receive services. Disponible en Español.

Both Jackson and Josephine County have Victims Assistance Programs available to provide comprehensive support to crime victims. Contact information for each county-based program is below.

Crisis Support and Advocacy
- Josephine County Women's Crisis Support Team (supports all genders): WCST provides advocacy and intervention services 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and 365 days a year.

- Illinois Valley Safe House Alliance (Cave Junction, OR): Provides advocacy and resources for those in the Illinois Valley area.

- Jackson County Community Works Sexual Assault Victims Services (SAVS):
- 541-779-4357 (HELP) 24/7 access to a local sexual assault advocate for confidential support and advice by phone.
- Jackson County Sexual Assault Response Team (SART): Offers free sexual assault exams at any Jackson County hospital, forensic evidence collection, survivors' healing groups and a K-12 sexual violence prevention program.

- The Oregon Coalition Against Domestic and Sexual Violence (OCADSV): Located in Portland, OCADSV hosts a statewide directory of shelters, community-based advocacy, and legal assistance programs.
Criminal and Civil Resources
Depending on the circumstances, a protective order may be an option. In Oregon, the following protection orders are available:
- Family Abuse Prevention Act (FAPA) Restraining Order
- Stalking Protection Order
- Sexual Abuse Protective Order
- Elderly Persons and Persons with Disabilities Abuse Prevention Act Restraining Order
These resources can be used to file restraining orders and explore criminal and civil remedies. If you obtain a restraining order or stalking order, please contact the Risk Management Department so you can be assisted in maintaining your safety on campus.
