Commencement at RCC

Redwood Campus, Grants Pass on Saturday, June 15, 2024

Graduates are invited to participate in a traditional commencement ceremony on the Redwood (Grants Pass) campus. The ceremony will begin at 10 a.m.
Caps, gowns, and tassels are required for graduates.

ACCOMMODATION REQUEST
Graduate line-up and seating will occur in paved, concrete areas. If you require accommodations for line-up, seating, or during the ceremony, please contact Access and Disability Resources at 541-956-7337 by 9:00 a.m. June 7.

CAPS, GOWNS and TASSELS
You may order caps, gowns, and tassels online. Ordering opens on February 1, 2024.

Orders shipped to campus will be available for pick-up in the campus library beginning May 28, 2024.

HONOR CORDS
Graduation honors are determined after the completion of Winter 2024. Students who have a cumulative RCC GPA of 3.5 or higher at the end of Winter Term are eligible to purchase honor cords. Eligible graduates will receive an email in spring term with information on ordering honor cords.

AZP
If you are a member of the Alpha Zeta Pi honors society, and have applied for graduation by May 5, 2024, an AZP stole will be available for pick up at the library on the campus nearest your mailing address. If you have questions about your AZP stole, please contact Nicole Kieffer ([email protected])

COMMENCEMENT PROGRAMS
Commencement programs will be available to graduates attending commencement.


*RCC POLICIES REGARDING EVENTS ON CAMPUS

  • Except for service animals, pets are not allowed at the event. Service animals must be on a leash. Please leave pets at home.
  • The possession of firearms, including by a concealed handgun license holder, or other weapons while on the RCC campus is strictly prohibited, in accordance with Oregon Revised Statutes.
  • Please be aware that RCC is an alcohol and drug free institution. Graduates and guests are prohibited from use of intoxicants at college events, including the commencement ceremony. We appreciate your compliance with this policy.
