Eduardo "Lalo" Ibarra
Head Coach, Women's Soccer
Rogue Community College proudly announces Eduardo “Lalo” Ibarra as the Head Coach of the Ospreys Women’s Soccer program. A dedicated educator, mentor, and community leader, Coach Ibarra brings a powerful blend of experience, heart, and vision to the role.
A graduate of Southern Oregon University with a degree in Elementary Education, Ibarra is currently pursuing a master’s in education from Grand Canyon University. His academic and professional journey began at RCC, making his return to lead the women’s soccer program a meaningful homecoming.
Coach Ibarra has built a strong reputation in the Rogue Valley for his commitment to youth development and player growth. He most recently served as the Head Girls Varsity Soccer Coach at South Medford High School and currently coaches competitive youth teams with the Rogue Valley Timbers. His earlier coaching roles with Medford United Soccer Club and Kids Unlimited reflect a long-
standing dedication to creating opportunities for young athletes to thrive.
With a coaching philosophy rooted in development, discipline, and daily improvement, Ibarra is known for cultivating environments where student-athletes grow both on and off the field. His ability to connect with players and foster a culture of accountability and support has made him a respected figure in both educational and athletic circles. In addition to his coaching career, Ibarra has served as a bilingual elementary school teacher and site manager for after-school and summer programs. His work in education mirrors his coaching approach—focused on inclusivity, empowerment, and long-term success.Coach Ibarra steps into a program with a strong foundation of success, and he is committed to building on that momentum. With a vision rooted in growth, discipline, and unity, he aims to elevate the Ospreys to new heights—developing a team that not only competes at a high level but also represents RCC with pride, resilience, and purpose. His leadership marks the next chapter in the continued rise of women’s soccer at Rogue Community College.
