Ospreys Hire Lisa Elledge to Helm Women’s Soccer
MEDFORD – The Rogue Community College Ospreys Women’s Soccer program has hired its second coach in program history. Lisa Elledge has been hired as the program enters its sixth season. She joins a program that fell one point shy of playoffs last season and will look to help the program take the next step.
Elledge has spent the past 3 years as the assistant coach for Women’s Soccer at Southern Oregon University in Ashland, OR.
Elledge arrived at Southern Oregon University in 2013 via Bella Vista High in Fair Oaks, California as a student-athlete. A standout midfielder, she was a three-year starter tallying seven goals and seven assists in her career. As a senior on SOU's first-ever Cascade Conference title team, she received All-CCC honorable mention. She was also a three-year member of the Academic All-CCC team.
She earned her bachelor’s degree from SOU in Health and Physical Education and immediately became the assistant coach for Women’s Soccer under Jenni Rosenberg. During her time as the assistant the program became nationally ranked for the first time, entering the national tournament, and making it to the second round.
“We are excited to bring on Lisa. She is a rising talent that is highly respected and comes well recommended from her peers,” said Athletic Director Darren Van Lehn, “we are looking forward to her style of soccer and the guidance she can give our student-athletes.”
Elledge brings a fresh and exciting energy to a women’s soccer program entering its sixth season. She is looking to uphold the standards and character of the program and bring it to the next level.
