RCC Athlete Alumni Archive: 2016-2021


Jaime Aguayo – 2015 MS
Jaime was a member of our first every Men’s Soccer team. After his first year he transferred to Northwest Christian University, now known as Bushnell University, where he played for 3 years.


Mallory Ward – 2016 XC
Mallory ran for our Cross Country program during the 2 years that it existed. She was an All-American NWAC runner, transferred to Oregon Tech where she ran for another 3 years. She won a national champion with the Women’s Cross Country team in 2018.


Haley Janky – 2016-2017 WS
Haley joined Women’s soccer in the 2nd year of the program. She earned All-Region as a freshman, and All-Star and All-Academic as a sophomore. She transferred to Oregon Tech where she played her final 2 years. She scored 14 goals, and assisted on 6 others in her two years.


Alejandro Velazquez – 2017 – MS
Alejandro transferred from the Bay Area as a sophomore. He played his sophomore season and then transferred to SOU where he played his final two years. He scored a goal in the national tournament and upon graduation returned to the Ospreys as an assistant coach for Men’s soccer in 2020.


McKenna Frison – 2017-2018 WS
McKenna joined the Ospreys with little experience in soccer. She spent her two years working and building her skill becoming a team captain and an All-Academic as a sophomore. She turned her time into an opportunity in the mid-west playing for the junior varsity at CMU.


Lara Nuttall – 2017-2018 WS
Lara joined the Women’s soccer program a year after leaving high school. She was a talented athlete who became a major part of the program earning All-Region in both years. She transferred to Multnomah College into a program that was just beginning. She became a major face of the program during her first year and maintained participation through the COVID19 challenges.


Logan Billy – 2017-2018 WS
Logan was a local athlete who joined the program while recovering from a serious knee injury. She worked to build herself into a starting player, team captain, and All-Star as a sophomore. She transferred to Multnomah College into a program that was just beginning. After initially red-shirting she transferred to Warner Pacific in 2021 to finish her college playing career.


Mauricio Sanchez – 2017-2018 MS
Mauricio joined the Men’s soccer program a year after high school. A talented player he lead one of the best teams in program history. He was a two-time All Star for the Ospreys and team captain as a starting center back. He transferred to Warner Pacific where he competed in the 2020 COVID19 season and won the 2021 Cascade Conference Championship advancing to the national tournament.

Gavin Wilmott– 2018-2019 MS
Gavin came on a recruiting visit the summer before his senior year of HS, he joined the program following graduation. He was a starting center back as a freshman before leaving the team for personal reasons. He recommitted during the offseason and began a journey to team captain, All-Star, and All-Academic as a sophomore. His hard work turned into an offer from Oregon Tech where he competed in the 2020 COVID19 season and won the 2021 Cascade Conference Championship, and were 2021 Cascade Conference Tournament Champions, advancing to the national tournament.


Joel Witts – 2018-2019 MS
Recruited from Bend, Oregon Joel Witts was the starting goalkeeper the majority of his career with the Ospreys. He was a dedicated student-athlete who earned All-Academic and turned his time as an Ospreys into an offer to Oregon Tech. He competed in the 2020 COVID19 season and won the 2021 Cascade Conference Championship, 2021 Cascade Conference Tournament Champions, and advanced to the national tournament. He was named Cascade Conference Defensive Player of the Year and received NAIA All-American Honors.


Allie Hertager – 2019-2020 VB
Allie was a founding member of the Ospreys Volleyball program. Coming from North Medford High School she provided a consistent work ethic, endless, effort and near the end of her first-year was given the time to shine. She helped the program win South Region Championships in both of her seasons while earning All-Academic in 2020. She transferred to Pacific University for Fall 2021.


Trinity Atuatasi – 2019-2020 VB
Trinity was the founding libero for the Ospreys Volleyball program. She was a force on defensive and captained a program in its first two years to South Region Championships. Along with her championships she earned South Region player of the week honors 3 times, conference player of the week 1 time, and was a two-time 1st Team All-Star. She transferred to Southern Oregon University Fall 2021.


Noelani Beard – 2019-2020 VB
Noelani was a founding member of the Ospreys Volleyball program. She brought a high level of athleticism and desire to compete to a new program helping to win South Region Championships in both of her seasons. She earned South Region player of the week once and was a 1st team All-Star and All-Academic in 2020. Noelani signed with Shaw University becoming the first Osprey athlete to transfer to an NCAA program. She was named All-Conference in Volleyball in all three seasons at Shaw as well as CIAA offensive player of the year, and made the All-Tournament team during Shaw’s CIAA Championship season. Noelani became the first professional Osprey when she signed to play with Fer Volleyball in Ferizaj, Kosovo in January of 2024.



Zayla Sismar-Evangelista – 2019-2020 VB
Zayla was a founding member of the Ospreys Volleyball program. She was a defensive specialist who helped lead the program with her heart and energy helping to win the South Region Championship in both her seasons. She turned her on court talent to the sand and transferred to Corban University to compete for their Beach Volleyball team starting Spring 2022.


Amanda Klotz – 2020-2021 VB
Amanda joined the Ospreys Volleyball program in its second year. She brought her high-flying athleticism to the net and helped to win the South Region Championship in 2020 and a playoff run in 2021. She was named South Region player of the week once and earned 2nd All-Star team in 2020 and was a 1st team All-Star in 2021. She transferred to Humboldt St, the second Ospreys athlete to transfer to NCAA, and was recruited to play basketball immediately. She became the second two-sport athlete in Rogue history. Amanda finished her career at Benedictine University Mesa where they won the Cal Pac Championship and competed in the NAIA national tournament.


Julian Jackson – 2019-2021 MS
Julian joined the Ospreys Men’s Soccer program in Fall of 2019. He competed with the program through the COVID19 season and returned for his second official season in Fall 2021. Julian played through the midfield to help win the South Region Championship in 2020 and was apart of the historic group that made the first Final Four appearance in program history in 2021. His efforts lead him to Warner Pacific where he joined a program coming off a Conference Championship.


Jhoel Sarraude – 2019-2021 MS
Jhoel joined the Ospreys Men’s Soccer program in the Fall of 2019. He arrived with the first wave of athletes from the Hawaiian Islands and would leave an Ospreys legend. He competed through the COVID19 season and returned for his second official season in 2021. Jhoel would lead our offense for three seasons helping the program win its first South Region Championship and make its first Final Four appearance. Along the way he was a 3x All-Star, 2x South Region MVP, 2x Conference Athlete of the Week, 2x Academic Excellence, and the 2021 NWAC Baden Player of the Year. His efforts led him to Cal State Dominguez Hills, a top 10 NCAA Division 2 program, becoming the first men’s soccer player to transfer to the NCAA.


Rosendo Juarez-Flores – 2019-2021 MS
Rosendo “Piso” Juarez-Flores joined the Ospreys Men’s Soccer program in the Fall of 2019. He competed through the COVID19 season and returned for his second official season in 2021. Piso has magic feet and an endless drive. He was a 2x All-Star and was the assist leader for the Ospreys during his tenure. He helped propel the team to its first South Region Championship and its first Final Four appearance. His efforts took him to Oregon Tech on a full-ride scholarship.


Josue Reyes – 2019-2021 MS
Josue Reyes joined the Ospreys Men’s Soccer program in the Fall of 2019. He competed through the COVID19 season and returned for his second official season in 2021. Originally scouted by SOU Josue was injured and after recovering came to Rogue to put his stamp on NWAC soccer. Starting as a mid-fielder and moving to center back Josue is a field general. He commanded his team and captained the defense for the programs first South Region Championship and Final Four appearance. He was a 2x All-Star and earned Academic Excellence his Sophomore year. In a full circle moment Josue signed to return to SOU for his junior season.


Jeanie Palsis – 2019-2021 VB
Jeanie was a founding member for the Ospreys Volleyball program. As a defensive specialist she helped to lead the program to its first South Region championship. She tore her ACL on the final practice before COVID19 and served as an assistant coach during her recovery year helping to lead the team to its second South Region championship. She returned to the court Fall 2021 as the starting libero. She was named South Region player of the week 3x and Conference player of the week once as the team qualified for playoffs for a third season in a row. Her talents took her to Missouri Valley College on scholarship for her junior season.


Mackenzie Ososke – 2021
Mackenzie transferred to the Ospreys from Oregon Tech competing in the Fall of 2021 and helping to secure a third straight playoffs and ninth place finish. She worked as an assistant coach for Volleyball in the Fall of 2022 while she finished up her transfer to Southern Oregon University where she competed in SOU’s first season of Beach Volleyball during the Winter/Spring of 2023.


Albert Barillas - 2022 MS
Albert competed with the Ospreys in the COVID season helping us to win a South Region Championship before returning to the Ospreys for a second season after a year at Southern Oregon University. He helped the program extend their playoff streak with his defensive play in the Fall of 2022 before transferring to William Jessup during their transition to NCAA Division 2.


Autumn Williams – 2022 VB
Autumn transferred from the College of Southern Nevada and competed for the Ospreys in the Fall of 2022. Her all-around utility skill set helped establish a level of grit that would help the team pull off seven reverse sweeps in a season and extending the programs playoff streak. Autumn also earned All-Academic before transferring to Oregon Tech and competing for them in the Fall of 2022.


Brandon Mendez – 2022 MS
Brandon came to the Ospreys from the Portland area and made an immediate impact in the defensive midfield. He earned All-Star in his freshman year as the program extended their playoff streak before he transferred to Dominican University Illinois for his sophomore season in the Fall of 2023.


Bryce McCole – 2022 MS
Bryce competed with the Ospreys in the COVID season helping us to win a South Region Championship, and himself and All-Star selection, before returning to the Ospreys for a second season after a year at Southern Oregon University. He helped the program extend their playoff streak with his offensive play in the Fall of 2022 before transferring to Warner Pacific where he earned All-Conference honors.


Eireen Dale Madelo – 2020-22 VB
Eireen joined the Ospreys during the COVID season of Volleyball where the program won its second South Region Championship. Her career would see the program extend their playoff streak to four years as she developed into an opportunity to transfer to Oregon Tech. She redshirted Fall 2023 after a spring season injury and will play her first season for Oregon Tech Fall 2024.


Juan Hernandez – 2021-22 MS
Juan came to the Ospreys from Brookings Oregon to protect the net. He did just that in his freshman year as he helped the program upset Peninsula in the Elite Eight on the road punching their ticket to the programs first ever Final Four. His sophomore season would see the program extend its playoff streak before transferring to Oregon Tech for the Fall of 2023.


Kylie Anderson – 2021-22 VB
Kylie was at true freshman from Crater who largely played a backup role her freshman season. As a sophomore she would arrive on the scene as they anchored the defense from the Libero position setting the program record for digs and earning Conference Athlete of the Week twice and South Region Player of the Week six times. She was also named to the All-Region second team, earned All-Academic, and her Associates Degree before transferring to Southern Oregon University for the Fall of 2023.


Tessa Frodge – 2021-22 VB
Tessa was at true freshman from Crater who largely played a backup role her freshman season. As a sophomore she would arrive on the scene as championed the offense by setting a program record for kills and being 1 of 27 players at any level of college volleyball to go over 500 kills in the 2022 season. She earned Conference Athlete of the Week, South Region Player of the Week. Tessa was also named to the All-Region first team, earned All-Academic, and her Associates Degree before transferring to Southern Oregon University for the Fall of 2023.
