TRIO/SSS Support for Transferring TO RCC
What do I need to do?
I'm transferring to Rogue Community College (RCC) after receiving aid at another school the same school year.
- Add RCC to your FAFSA/ORSAA for the current school year and re-submit; check your student email and MyFinAid for updates.
- Contact your previous school’s Financial Aid Office; request they cancel aid for the remainder of the school year (ALL grants and loans).
- Collect "canceled award" document(s) from your previous school, showing aid they’ve disbursed for the current school year and that no aid is awarded for the current/remaining terms of the school year. RCC's FinAid Office will likely need these.
- Screenshots from the school’s online portal often work.
- Make sure the school’s name and your name are clearly visible in the screenshots/documentation.
- If seeking loans at RCC, complete the loan application steps.
- If taking courses at RCC (HOME school) and another school (HOST school), and seeking aid for the combined credits, complete the applicable Degree Partnership Program form.
- Contact your assigned RCC FinAid Advisor per your pathway with any questions, concerns, or FinAid documents to submit.
