TRIO-SSS Support for Transferring FROM RCC
What do I need to do?
I'm transferring from Rogue Community College (RCC) to another school after receiving aid at RCC the same school year.
- Add the new school to your FAFSA/ORSAA for the current school year and re-submit.
- Follow up with the new school's Financial Aid Office for updates. Submit any needed documents they require.
- Submit an Enrollment Change Form to your RCC FinAid Advisor (FAA) with your updated enrollment plans so aid for the remaining terms at RCC can be canceled (allowing the new school to disburse aid).
- If your new school requires "canceled award" document(s) from RCC, showing the aid we’ve disbursed for the current school year and that aid is canceled for the current/remaining terms of the school year, access that information on MyFinAid or contact your FAA.
- If you registered for RCC courses next term then decided to transfer, make sure you've dropped your RCC courses by the add/drop deadline.
- If you’re taking classes at another school (HOME school) and RCC (HOST school) and seeking aid for the combined credits, contact your HOME school’s Financial Aid Office about possible options for dual-enrollment.
