If you are a new student, you will need to complete the online admissions application
before you can sign up for a placement test.

If you are plan to earn a certificate, an associate degree or transfer to another college, you need to take a placement test first.

Test sessions for specific groups can be arranged with three weeks’ notice at the following locations:  Table Rock Campus, Grants Pass Business Development Center, Kerby Belt Building, Medford Library, Riverside Campus B Building. Please contact Sue Orris

  • If you are a prospective student, your first step is to fill out the online admission application.  You will sign up for a placement test once your application is complete.
  • If you have already filled out the online admission application but did not make a placement test appointment or are a current RCC student who wants to sign up to re-take the placement test, log in to myRogue and choose Placement test from the menu.

Placement tests measure your skills in 3 areas:

  • Reading
  • Writing
  • Mathematics

The test is given on a computer and ensures your success by helping us place you in the appropriate course levels.

The test is free.

Tests take approximately 1½ hours to complete and you get your results after the test.

No cell phones please.
