Alpha Zeta Pi
Alpha Zeta Pi (AZP) at Rogue Community College seeks to recognize and promote academic excellence and student success. Our honor society encourages the development of leadership, service, and the cultivation of fellowship among high-achieving students with the ultimate goal of providing more avenues for student engagement.
- Leadership: Alpha Zeta Pi members are encouraged to serve as honor society officers.
- Service: A variety of volunteer opportunities of offered throughout the academic year.
- Fellowship: New members are acknowledged at our annual induction ceremony held each spring. A variety of rapport building events are available throughout the academic year.

Membership Requirements
- 3.50 cGPA on the 4.0 scale
- Completed 24 transferable credits (May include professional/technical credits 100+)
- Enrolled in 8 or more credits
- Only one "W" on transcript within a two-term period
How to Join
Once each term, email invitations will be sent to qualified honor society candidates with information about how to join. Qualified students pay a one-time membership fee of $40 to become members of Alpha Zeta Pi. This fee is payable at Rogue Community College Marketplace. Students qualified to join will need to provide a passcode in order to process payment. Please email [email protected] for the passcode to complete the application at the AZP Application link.
Open Officer Positions
Current AZP members are warmly encouraged to apply to one or more of our AZP officer positions.
- Applications are closed for 2025-26.
Interested members must meet the following eligibility criteria:
- Must be an official member of RCC's AZP Honor Society
- Currently enrolled in and maintain a minimum of 8 credit hours at RCC
- Must have and maintain a cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.50 or higher
Officers will be active during the fall, winter, and spring terms. Officers shall receive a tuition voucher equal to no more than 4 credits of tuition, excluding all fees, at the end of each term of service.

Howdy! My name is Guy, Yes that is my real name! Originally born and raised in Austin Texas. After high school I sought the healing arts and practiced massage therapy which I still practice. In 2014, being disenchanted with big city energy, I moved to southern Oregon after falling in love with the area and the many wonderful things Oregon.
After being in Oregon for nearly a decade I decided to reinvent myself by investigating Rogue Community College and higher education. After dipping my toe in the intellectual waters, I decided to pursue a degree in Computer Science with the intent of managing networks for a state institution or school. When I first started my educational reawakening, I was insecure about it because it had been so long since I had been a student, I was not a diligent proactive student in my younger years, and I am older. I am here to say that dreams are reachable. Put in the work. Aim for the best grades possible, study hard and do work you’re proud of, you can succeed and further your life in a positive direction.
For anyone reading this, Alpha Zeta Pi is an organization that recognizes your achievements and gives you opportunities to further your development, participating in it is going to make you a better person and a better student. Part of college experience is not only learning in classes but networking with individuals in your community and learning skills to compete in job markets.
AZP has so much potential, my primary goal is contributing to the sustainability of AZP through awareness and student involvement and helping create a positive impact on student life and student success. I used to say, “fake it till you make it”, now I say, “practice it till you master it."
