College Composition I & II (WR 121Z & WR 122Z)
The goal of the Composition courses is to provide students with the opportunity to practice writing skills that will enable them to write successfully in all their college classes. By the end of the course, students will be reading analytically and critically, and their writing should demonstrate an understanding of organization, audience, voice, and the conventions of college-level written English.

Imaginative Writing (WR 241, WR 242, WR 243)
For students who are looking to stimulate and improve their own creative writing, RCC Imaginative Writing courses offer the opportunity to study with instructors who provide structure and feedback.  Students should expect to write a lot, learn critical terminology, and spend class time discussing their own and others' writing.

Magazine Writing-Editing-Publishing (WR 199)
Designed for students interested in creative writing, publishing, and digital media design, this course emphasizes writing as a craft while introducing the editorial and production process of a literary magazine.  Students analyze literary magazines, develop an editorial vision, create and revise original creative work, edit and respond to submissions, write editorial copy, and collaborate on design, layout, proofreading, and digital publication for Rogue Currents, RCC’s student literary magazine.
