After going the way of the dinosaurs during COVID lockdowns, Theatre Arts at Rogue Community College is back!
RCC's Theatre Program offers coursework in acting, as well as the production of plays. Theatre coursework can help with confidence in public speaking, and skills learned doing theatre are transferable across a wide field of other professions.
Currently, RCC is offering Fundamentals of Acting courses and a spring play.
Fundamentals of Acting takes place at the Table Rock Campus and provides an introduction to scene work, acting for auditions and viewpoints. A public showing of scenes takes place during finals week of spring term at the Riverside Campus.
The 2025 spring play is Amelia Roper's modern English, Two Gentlemen of Verona. Rehearsals are held at the Table Rock Campus, with performances at the Rogue Auditorium on the Redwood Campus.
