Whenever a special meeting of the Board of Education is called, the College President shall initiate the notice, which shall be posted at least 24 hours prior to the meeting in a location freely accessible to the public and in a manner that provides notice to the members of the Board of Education, the news media which have requested notice, and the general public.
Whenever an emergency meeting of the Board of Education is called, the College President shall notify each member of the Board of Education. Notice must provide information as is appropriate to the circumstances. The meeting minutes for the meeting shall describe the emergency justifying less than 24 hours’ notice.
