The purpose of the Associated Student Government of Rogue Community College (ASGRCC) is to provide the students of Rogue Community College with representation to the college administration and the communities in which we live. Our goals and priorities are to provide students with a community voice and a self-governing structure, to maintain a sound academic environment, establish a cohesive working environment to enhance and develop leadership skills, and to provide activities and events for the social and cultural enrichment of students. The ASGRCC coordinates student activities and events, maintains clubs and organizations, represents the students to the college administration, and keeps abreast of political issues. General fund allocations contribute funding for on campus activities and political events, activity/event publicity, an end of term party, the student newspaper, and student travel expenses incurred for political reasons. The ASGRCC also provides assistance to campus departments by helping fund academic events at the school and in the community. Each spring term, the students of RCC elect:

In addition, ad-hoc representatives, such as the Wellness Director and the Byline Editor, may be hired part-time as deemed necessary. Officers of student government receive a taxable tuition stipend at the end of each term of service.
