Early College New Student Checklist (PDF)

Thank you for choosing Rogue Community College!

Rogue Community College offers several options for Jackson and Josephine county high school students to get a jump start on a college plan and career preparation path right away.

Checklist Item 1

Discuss interest with your high school

  • Can the RCC course apply to a high school diploma?
  • Will the high school pay for the tuition? Books?

Checklist Item 2

Apply for Admissions

  • Complete RCC application by clicking “Apply Now” at roguecc.edu.
  • New students will need to “Sign Up” before they can continue to the application.

Checklist Item 3

Apply for Accomodations

  • If you currently receive or would like to receive accommodations, visit roguecc.edu/accessResources and apply for services.
  • Meet with Access staff to discuss receiving accommodations in your RCC courses.

Checklist Item 4

Complete the Placement Process

  • Many college classes have reading, writing and math requirements. Complete the Placement Process to determine which courses are right for you.
  • You can always redo the Placement Process as you progress with those skills throughout your high school career. Visit roguecc.edu/Recruitment/placement to access the form.

Order Books/Supplies

  • Check RCC and local libraries for textbook rentals
  • Order from the Online Bookstore at roguecc.ecampus.com
