Learn more about our college and the beautiful Rogue Valley.

About the Online Application System

RCC uses NEOED, an online recruitment and hiring system where you have the ability to search for open positions; create, modify, and view the status of an application; and apply for posted positions.

To be considered for employment at RCC, an online application must be completed and submitted. Only online applications will be considered. You may need to create a unique login and password before you can complete an application online. Please keep your user name and password so that you can log in to the system, check the status of an application, and/or apply for other positions. You can edit your saved application and use it to quickly apply to other postings. Email will be our primary method of communication with applicants; you will receive system-generated emails to update you on the status of your application.

Completing Your Application

When completing an online application, keep in mind the following:

  • A resume does not serve as a substitute for a completed application.
  • Information required within the application is denoted with an asterisk (*).
  • Only applications that clearly demonstrate that the applicant meets the minimum qualifications for the position will be considered. If equivalencies are acceptable, they will be referenced in the position announcement.

  • You’re advised to carefully review the essential functions and screening criteria as posted. The more information you provide, the easier it will be to effectively evaluate your skills, abilities and qualifications.
  • Current employees must also submit transcripts and other application materials as required. Employee files are not forwarded to search committees and/or hiring managers.
  • Upon completing and submitting your application, you will receive a confirmation page that your application has been submitted. You may then log in and check the status of your application at any time.
  • You will not have the ability to modify your application once it has been submitted, so be sure all information is accurate and all required documents have been attached correctly.

Once an application is submitted, all application materials become the property of Rogue Community College and will not be returned.

Dates of Employment and Hours Worked

Dates of employment and hours worked are essential in determining whether an applicant meets the minimum length of experience required for the position. Applications that do not contain a quantifiable number of hours worked per week may not be considered.

If you worked in a position that had a flexible work schedule, an average number of hours worked per week may be utilized. For example: hours that varied between 10 and 30 hours per week may be listed as 20 hours per week on the application.

Duties and Responsibilities

We recommend that your application materials illustrate everything that you would like the search committee and/or hiring manager to know about your experience, knowledge, skills and abilities in relation to the position for which you are applying. It is important that your application is easy to read and clearly demonstrates the relationship between the duties and tasks you have accomplished in prior positions and the position for which you are applying.

Required Documents

Documents required with the online application form may vary by posting and are listed in the Method of Application and Closing Date section of the announcement, as well as indicated by an asterisk (*) within the application. Many positions require a cover letter, resume or vitae, letters of recommendation, and copies of unofficial transcripts indicating your level of degree earned. Some positions may even require that you provide proof of relevant licensure. Please be advised that all of the required documents must be provided at the time of application, cannot be substituted for other documents, and must meet the specifications of the announcement. Applications missing any of the listed requirements may be considered incomplete and ineligible for further review.

If you have documents that are not saved electronically, and you do not have access to a scanner, please contact HR for assistance. We can help you scan your documents and email them to you to attach to your application.

Academic Transcripts from non-U.S. Institutions

For academic transcripts/credentials from non-U.S. institutions, the applicant will need to include a credential evaluation. Follow the link for a list of institutions that provide evaluation services. RCC does not endorse any of these agencies and the list is maintained by an outside organization.
