BP 4100 Graduation Requirements for Degrees and Certificates

Rogue Community College awards degrees, certificates and career pathways certificates in accordance with the Oregon Higher Education Coordinating Commission (HECC) definitions and the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities (NWCCU) Standards and Policies. Rogue Community College awards the following degrees to those students who have completed the requirements for graduation:
- Associate of Applied Science (AAS)
- Associate of Arts Oregon Transfer (AAOT)
- Associate of General Studies (AGS)
- Associate of Science (AS)
- Associate of Science Oregon Transfer (ASOT)
Students may be awarded a Certificate of Completion or a Career Pathways Certificate of Completion upon successful completion of a minimum of 12 or more quarter credits of program-applicable coursework designed as a pattern of learning experiences to develop certain capabilities oriented for a defined job entry point.
The Vice President of Instruction shall establish procedures to determine degree and certificate requirements that include review and approval by the Curriculum and Academic Standards Committee (CASC) and the Academic and Training Council (ATC). The procedures shall assure that graduation requirements are published in Rogue Community College’s catalog(s) and included in other resources that are available to students.
