Courses that are designated to fulfill the general education and depth requirements shall meet the following philosophy:

The Rogue Community College Board of Education supports a multi-year educational program designed to significantly improve student outcomes. The program is an integrated, institution-wide approach to student success based on intentionally designed, clear, coherent and structured educational experiences, informed by available evidence, that guide each student effectively and efficiently from their point of entry through to attainment of high-quality postsecondary credentials and careers with value in the labor market. The educational program will be led by the Vice President of Instructional Services, under the direction of the College President.

Courses that are designated to fulfill the general education and depth requirements shall meet the following criteria:

At Rogue Community College, associate degrees are comprised of state approved credit courses. Associate degrees will have program requirements ranging from 90-94 credits. Any exception to the 94-credit maximum requires approval of the President.
