No restriction shall be placed on the political activities of any employee of Rogue Community College (RCC) except to the extent prohibited by state law when on the job during working hours.

No RCC funds, services, supplies, or equipment may be used to urge the support or defeat of any ballot measure, election petition, candidate, or political committee, including but not limited to any candidate for election to the Board of Education.  In addition, no public official (including elected officials) may require an employee to engage in political activities at any time.

The college encourages active participation by employees in various community and public affairs, so long as the time given to such activities does not interfere with the employee’s duties.
