Students attend Rogue for a variety of reasons. Most come to upgrade or learn new job skills, many come for the first steps toward earning higher academic degrees, and a large number enroll for personal enrichment and professional development. This diversity of purpose creates an enthusiastic and challenging student body whose members are dedicated to fulfilling their individual educational and career goals.

Each year the college provides educational experiences to more than 17,000 students (4,803 full-time equivalent) in lower division transfer, job training, and developmental studies programs.
