DayDream Café runs a Pay-it-Forward Meal Program to support students in need. The program allows anyone to purchase a meal for $10 at the register. Upon purchase, a customized sticky note with a nice quote or picture is created and placed next to the register, indicating that a pre-paid meal is available.

To redeem a meal, individuals simply pick up a sticky note from the register, hand it to the staff, and their meal will be prepared. The same sticky note is then placed on the meal box to indicate it has been claimed. Each sticky note represents one free meal, which includes any one item from the food menu plus a canned soda or bottled water.
