Raelyn Horton serves as a Transition Specialist with High School Partnerships as well as the Career Connected Learning Navigator at Rogue Community College, where she also teaches GED® courses. She has been with RCC for six years and is deeply committed to helping students explore and achieve their educational and career goals.
A first-generation college student herself, Raelyn holds a Master of Arts in Teaching and a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Southern Oregon University, as well as an Associate of Arts Oregon Transfer degree from Rogue Community College. Her career background includes teaching at the elementary level, coaching volleyball and track, and working as a personal banker and operations specialist for a global bank.
Raelyn is passionate about serving her community and empowering students to navigate the many facets of college and career readiness. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, listening to music, reading, and eating good food!
