GED Official TestingRVC Spring 2008 GED Testing Guide Download RVC GED Testing Calendars: RWC Spring 2008 GED Testing Schedule Five individual tests make up the GED battery: Writing, Social Studies, Science, Reading, and Math. All must be taken and passed with a score of 410 or better. A final average of 450 or better is required to earn a certificate. The tests are in the multiple choice format with the exception of the Writing Test which includes both multiple choice and a written essay. Sign-in for the tests occurs 30 minutes before the tests are scheduled to begin. Seating is limited to twenty candidates. All candidates must present their Valid DMV ID prior to testing. Testing procedures and rules are reviewed in depth at the “Registration Sessions”. The GED Tests are also available in Spanish and French. Please inform the GED Examiner at the time of registration that you would like to take the tests in one of these languages.
