Mark Gibson

Mark Gibson is the President and CEO of Siskiyou Transportation and Timberland Helicopters. Siskiyou is a trucking company engaged in the transportation of logs, biomass & aggregate products in southern Oregon & northern California. Timberland Helicopters offers utility services throughout the western United States, including power line & pipeline patrol, fish & wildlife surveys & firefighting.

Mark has a degree in Diesel Technology from Oregon Tech, and a B.S. in Business Management from Southern Oregon University. He has been very active in the Oregon Trucking Association (OTA) and the Helicopter Association International, holding multiple offices, including Chairman of the Board, while promoting legislation for these industries. He serves as the Government Relations Policy Advisor for OTA and is a member of the Rogue Valley Area Commission on Transportation and the Oregon Freight Advisory Committee.

Community Service includes serving as Vice Chairman on the board of directors for the Elmer C. Biegel Family Memorial Foundation, the Will M. & Margaret Dodge Foundation & the Fred A. Tayler Memorial Foundation. He is also a member of the board of the Southern Oregon Historical Society Foundation.

Mark brings a wealth of real-world experience to the RCC Foundation, including his knowledge of diesel technology and the trucking industry.

The Rogue Community College Foundation is a non-profit organization founded in 1980 to serve the needs of Rogue Community College and RCC students. The Foundation was created to receive and administer donations to:

  • Scholarship funds
  • Special college projects
