Who Can Apply
You are eligible if:
- You have RCC login credentials
- You have a 2.5 or higher cumulative GPA
- You plan to take 6+ credits in Fall 2026
Exception:
If you finish your RCC degree in Spring 2026 with a 2.5+ GPA and are transferring to OSU, OIT, PSU, or SOU in Fall 2026, complete the Matriculation Scholarship instead of the General Scholarship.
Tip:
Submit your FAFSA or ORSAA as soon as possible to be considered for need-based scholarships.

When to Apply
RCC Foundation Scholarships (Internal)
- Opens: February 1, 2026
- Closes: June 1, 2026 at 11:59 p.m.
Early Bird Drawing
Apply by April 1, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. for a chance to win a $1,000 Early Bird Scholarship.
Important
New scholarships are added often. To be considered for everything you match to, re-submit your application again before June 1, 2026.
Cohort-Specific Scholarships
Some programs (like Nursing or EMT) may open cycles at other times of the year.

- Log into ScholarshipUniverse
using your RCC ID, email, and password. - Add [email protected] to your safe senders list.
- If you don’t know your RCC ID, email [email protected]
- Review RCC's FAQ concerning access if you need help accessing ScholarshipUniverse.
- Answer the matching questions to see which scholarships you qualify for.
- Apply for all internal and external scholarships you match to.
- Check your RCC email and text messages for updates.
- Visit your ScholarshipUniverse Dashboard anytime to track your progress.

After You Apply
Internal Scholarships
- Award offers for 2026–27 are emailed in late July.
- The email will list your scholarship name, award amount, and eligibility rules.
- You must submit an online Thank You Letter by the deadline in your award email.
Your scholarship will be added to your Financial Aid Award Letter and applied to your RCC account before each term.
If extra funds remain after your tuition and fees are paid, you’ll receive a refund to your BankMobile or designated account—usually around the second week of the term.
If you can’t meet your scholarship requirements later, you may request an exception.
