Transferring TO RCC
If you are transferring to Rogue Community College during the same school year after receiving financial aid at another institution, follow the steps below to help avoid delays in your aid.
- Add Rogue Community College to your FAFSA or ORSAA for the current school year and resubmit it.
- Check your RCC student email and MyFinAid regularly for updates or next steps.
- Contact the Financial Aid Office at your previous school and request that all remaining aid for the current school year be canceled, including grants and loans
Request documentation from your previous school that shows:
- Which financial aid has already been disbursed during the current school year.
- Confirmation that no aid is awarded for the remaining term or terms. RCC’s Financial Aid Office will likely need this information.
- Screenshots from your previous school’s student portal are often allowed.
- Make sure your name and the school’s name are clearly visible on all documents.
If you plan to request student loans at RCC, complete all required loan application steps.
If you are enrolled at RCC as your home school and also taking classes at another institution as a host school, and you want financial aid based on combined credits, complete the appropriate Degree Partnership Program form.

Transferring FROM RCC
If you are transferring from Rogue Community College to another school during the same school year, follow the steps below to help ensure your financial aid transitions smoothly.
- Add your new school to your FAFSA or ORSAA for the current school year and resubmit the form.
- Watch your student email and financial aid portal at your new school for updates.
- Follow up with the new school’s Financial Aid Office and submit any documents they request.
- Submit an Enrollment Change Form to your RCC Financial Aid Advisor. This lets RCC cancel financial aid for any remaining terms so your new school can disburse aid.
- Be sure your updated enrollment plans are clearly reflected in the form.
Some schools require documentation showing that RCC has canceled your remaining aid.
If needed, you can:
- Access information about disbursed and canceled aid in MyFinAid, or
- Contact your RCC Financial Aid Advisor to request canceled award documentation
