Redwood Campus, Grants Pass — Saturday, June 13, 2026
You’re invited to celebrate your hard work and success at a traditional commencement ceremony on the Redwood Campus in Grants Pass. The ceremony begins at 10 a.m. and is open to GED® students who took GED® Prep Classes through RCC’s GED® & Pre-College Education program and passed their GED® tests.
You’ll need a cap, gown and tassel to walk in the ceremony. See below for more information.
How to Apply for Graduation
- Submit your GED® Graduation Application.
- The deadline to apply is Thursday, June 11, 2026.
- After you apply, you’ll get an email from the GED® & Pre-College Education department confirming your application and sharing the next steps.
Caps, Gowns and Tassels
- Tassels are free and will be handed out at check-in before the ceremony.
- Caps and gowns are available to borrow when you arrive. Please return them at the end of the ceremony.
- If you prefer to buy your own cap and gown, you can order them online.
Honor Cords
You may qualify for special cords to wear during graduation:
- Blue and green cords: Given to students who completed the Concurrent Enrollment Program (CEP) with a passing grade.
- Gold cords: Given to students who scored 170 or higher on at least one official GED® test.
Guests and Accessibility
The graduate lineup takes place on paved, concrete areas for about an hour before the ceremony. Seating for graduates is on grass with a slight slope, and reaching the seating area may require navigating a few steps.
