Associate Degree

Before you get started, it helps to understand how this program works. The Employment Skills Training (EST) Certificate is a special admission program with a separate application process. After you apply to RCC and complete the EST application, you will work with faculty to build a customized training plan that matches your skills, goals and local job opportunities. Some occupations may have additional requirements, such as background checks or insurance, which will be reviewed with you early so there are no surprises.

Graduation Requirements

The Employment Skills Training Certificate requires the completion of 15-42 program credits based on a pre-approved training plan. Students must complete all courses outlined in this program with a grade of “C” or better to earn a certificate. Students must submit a completed Employment Skills Training (EST) application to program staff and be accepted into the program prior to starting this program.

See the Program Map in our academic catalog for specific course requirements.
