The Design & Digital Media Associate of Applied Science degree at Rogue Community College prepares you for entry-level careers in visual communication and digital design. This program focuses on building creative, technical and professional skills used in graphic design, web design, advertising and digital media roles.
You’ll study design principles, creative problem solving, drawing, typography and design history while gaining hands-on experience with industry-standard software. Coursework includes digital imaging, illustration, publication design, web authoring, video production, animation, social media and portfolio development. This degree is designed to help you graduate with real-world skills and a professional portfolio.
RCC also has a transfer agreement with the Pacific Northwest College of Art. With careful planning, some students may continue into applied bachelor’s degree options.
