Rogue Community College’s Construction Trades, General Apprenticeship Certificate is designed for registered apprentices who want to earn a college credential while completing their apprenticeship. This program combines required apprenticeship training with several relevant general education courses, allowing you to build technical skills and academic knowledge at the same time you are working in your chosen trade.
This certificate is part of RCC’s Construction Trades, General Apprenticeship Pathway and is available to students in the HVAC/R, Plumber and Sheet Metal Worker apprenticeship programs. As you meet apprenticeship requirements, you also earn college credits that lead to a recognized certificate and provide a strong foundation for advanced opportunities. The pathway helps you enter the workforce quickly while keeping long-term education options open through stackable credentials, statewide consistency and an optional transfer path into a bachelor’s degree program at Oregon Tech.
