Board of Education Policies and Procedures
The President’s Office is responsible for recording, communicating and posting all approved, new or revised policies and procedures on the college website.
A Board Policy defines what Rogue Community College does and why. Board Policies establish the principles, direction and expectations that guide college governance and decision‑making. Policies are adopted by the RCC Board of Education and set the framework for how the college operates.
Administrative Procedures explain how Board Policies are carried out. Procedures provide the detailed steps, responsibilities and processes needed to implement policy in daily college operations. Administrative Procedures are approved by the Executive Team to ensure policies are applied consistently across the college.
New or revised policies and procedures include input from faculty and staff who may be affected. Except when immediate action is required, a policy or procedure is not adopted or approved at the first meeting in which it is discussed.
