Vision exams and corrective lenses may be available at no cost or reduced cost through the following programs.
Prevent BlindnessFind free or low-cost eye exams and glasses through referral programs and local partners. Availability depends on eligibility and provider capacity.
- Apply for Prevent Blindness Vision Assistance — Submit an application to see if you qualify for services.
Lions Eyeglasses Assistance Program (LEAP)The Lions Eyeglasses Assistance Program helps eligible Oregon residents access eye exams and eyeglasses.
- Qualify if your income is at or below 200% of the federal poverty level and you do not have vision coverage. Services are provided through local Lions Clubs.
- LEAP Get Help Form — Submit an application for review. Processing times may vary since services are coordinated by volunteers.

Oregon Health Plan (OHP) Eye and Vision Care
Access medical eye exams and, in some cases, routine vision exams and glasses. Coverage
depends on age, pregnancy status and medical need.
