Jackson and Josephine counties (June 10, 2026) — Rogue Community College will celebrate its largest graduating class since 2018 when 749 students are recognized during the college’s 55th Commencement on Saturday, June 13, 2026, at 10 a.m. at the Marjorie Holzgang Concert Bowl on the RCC Redwood Campus in Grants Pass.
Approximately 400 graduates are expected to participate in the ceremony, joining family members, friends, faculty and staff in celebrating the achievements of RCC’s Class of 2026. The class includes 749 college graduates, the highest number since 752 students graduated in 2018. Together, graduates earned 678 associate degrees and 257 certificates, with some students completing more than one credential. An additional 75 students completed their GED® and will be recognized during the ceremony.
The ceremony will feature student speakers Riah Lin Van Buskirk, who earned an Associate of Arts Oregon Transfer degree and an Associate of General Studies degree, and Patricia Piña Hernandez, representing RCC’s GED® graduates. Opening remarks will be delivered by RCC President Randy Weber, Ed.D.

Whether students are preparing for a career, transferring to a university, earning a GED or gaining new skills to advance in the workforce, we are committed to providing access, support and pathways that help them achieve their goals. Seeing so many students reach this milestone is a powerful reminder of the impact education has on individuals, families and communities.”
In 2025, RCC was recognized by the Carnegie Foundation as an Opportunity College, reflecting the college’s success in creating pathways to economic mobility and student success.
RCC’s Class of 2026 reflects the diverse educational journeys of students across Southern Oregon. Thirty-one graduates achieved a perfect 4.0 grade-point average. The average age of this year’s college graduates is 30.
Free parking and shuttle service will be available from the Josephine County Fairgrounds beginning at 8:45 a.m. Shuttles will depart approximately every 10 minutes until the ceremony begins and will continue returning guests to the fairgrounds following the ceremony until approximately 1 p.m.
Limited parking also will be available on campus. Guests seeking parking closest to the Concert Bowl should enter campus from Redwood Highway via Demaray Drive.
