Rogue Community College offers the Associate of Arts Oregon Transfer - History Interest degree for students who plan to transfer to an Oregon public university and earn a bachelor’s degree in history or a related field. This two-year program completes your lower division general education requirements and allows you to transfer with junior standing. With careful planning, you can also complete many lower division history courses before you transfer — saving time and keeping your path to a four-year degree on track.
As you study history, you will examine cultural, political and social systems while building strong research, writing and critical thinking skills. By following your Program Map and meeting regularly with an Academic Advisor, you can choose courses that meet AAOT requirements and prepare you for upper division history coursework after transfer. Flexible options, including online classes, help you balance school with work and other responsibilities.
