Software engineering coursework builds progressively, particularly in programming, math and engineering concepts. Students should begin coursework at the appropriate placement level and consult regularly with their Academic Advisor to stay on track.

Graduation Requirements
The Software Engineering Technology Transfer to Oregon Tech AS degree requires the completion of 90-93 program credits in addition to prerequisite credits, which may be waived based on placement. Students must complete all courses outlined in this program with a grade of “C” or better to earn a degree. Students are strongly encouraged to meet with an Academic Advisor or faculty advisor before beginning any coursework.
Students should note that Oregon Tech requires a grade of B in CS 162U and CS 234U for transfer into the Software Engineering Technology program.
