Associate Degree

Table Rock Campus

Rogue Community College partners with Linn-Benton Community College to offer the Surgical Technology program in Southern Oregon. Because this is a special admission program, you must meet additional requirements and complete a separate application process beyond general college admission. Students participating in this partnership program must apply for admission to both RCC and LBCC before starting the program.

The Surgical Technology program begins each fall term and follows a cohort model, meaning students move through the program together over six terms. Students should plan to spend about 40 hours each week on coursework, labs and study time. During the final two terms of the program, students complete a minimum of 360 practicum hours and at least 120 surgical cases in healthcare facilities across Oregon. Reliable transportation may be needed for practicum placements and laboratory experiences.
