Table Rock Campus
The Pharmacy Technician Certificate is a two-term program offered during winter and spring terms. It includes a supervised practicum, which requires meeting specific health and safety requirements before you begin.
- Completion of required health and immunization documentation, based on practicum site requirements.
- Completion of a criminal background check.
- Completion of a drug screening, which includes an associated fee.
Graduation Requirements
The Pharmacy Technician Certificate requires the completion of 27 program credits in addition to 2-9 prerequisite credits, which may be waived based on placement. Students must complete all courses outlined in this program with a grade of “C” or better to earn a certificate. Students are strongly encouraged to meet with an Academic Advisor or faculty advisor before beginning any coursework.

Credit for Prior Learning
The Pharmacy Technician program may be eligible for Credit for Prior Learning, meaning your work experience, training or other learning outside the classroom could count for college credit — helping you save time and reduce costs.
