The paramedicine application period opens April 1 and typically closes in early June for fall entry. This is an intensive full-time program that meets fall-through-spring for lectures, hands-on labs and clinical shifts, followed by a Paramedic Capstone Internship in the summer or fall.

- Attend a First Term Advising Session: Academic Advisors help you choose classes and plan your schedule.
- Register for Classes: Once your schedule is set, you’re ready start your first term.
Additional Special Admissions Application Steps
Step 1: Begin Your Emergency Services Application
This degree is a special admission program. Beginning April 1, visit the this page
to complete the online application. You will find instructions and a list of required
documents and immunizations you must submit before you can register. This process
is not competitive, but it does confirm that all minimum requirements are met. The
application period typically closes in early June for fall entry.
Step 2: Purchase Your Application Tracker Through QualifiedFirst
After April 1, follow the link on this page to purchase the application tracker through
QualifiedFirst. This system is the only way to submit documents; materials cannot
be accepted by email or in person.
To begin:
- Visit the QualifiedFirst Background Info Center.
- Enter the code DDCBK-22266 in the First Time Users section.
- Create an account, complete demographic information and submit the required fees.
- Upload all requested documentation.
Step 3: Watch for Next Steps by RCC Student Email
After your application materials are complete, you will receive an email from the
Emergency Services department with instructions for your next steps. If space is available,
your place in the upcoming cohort will be reserved at that time.
Step 4: Complete Your Background Check and Drug Screen
Do not begin these on your own. You will receive a specific code and instructions
by email once it is time to complete them. Outside results cannot be accepted.
