After you apply to RCC, you’ll complete the Placement Process. This helps you understand your current skills in math and writing so you can start courses that match your level and set you up for success.

This program has prerequisite course requirements, which may be waived based on placement. Please see the Program Map in our academic catalog for more information.

World Language Requirement

Transferring to a four-year school? If you plan to apply for transfer to a public university in Oregon, you must meet a world language requirement. You can meet this requirement by completing two years of the same world language in high school or two college-level terms. RCC offers courses in Spanish, French and American Sign Language (ASL).

Graduation Requirements

The  Business SOU Transfer degree requires completion of 90-91 program credits in addition to 0-8 prerequisite credits, which may be waived based on placement. Students must complete all courses outlined in this program with a grade of “C” or better to earn a degree. Students are strongly encouraged to meet with an Academic & Career Coach or faculty advisor before beginning any coursework.
