Rogue Community College’s Electrician Apprenticeship Technologies Associate of Applied Science degree allows registered apprentices to earn an associate degree while completing their state-approved apprenticeship and working toward journeyman status. Designed for apprentices enrolled in the Inside Electrician, Limited Maintenance Electrician, Manufacturing Plant Electrician and Sign Electrician programs, this customizable degree builds on apprenticeship training by adding additional for-credit college coursework aligned with your educational and career goals.
Coursework follows Oregon Bureau of Labor and Industries apprenticeship standards and deepens technical knowledge in electrical systems, safety and code compliance using National Electrical Code and Oregon Specific Codes. As part of Rogue Community College’s Electrician Apprenticeship Pathway, this stairstep degree supports continued career advancement and provides options to pursue further education, including an optional transfer path into a bachelor’s degree at Oregon Tech.
