Steps to Apply as a College Now Student
The College Now program at Rogue Community College (RCC) lets you earn college credit in select classes at your high school. These dual credit courses appear on your high school and college transcripts. Even better, there is no cost. College Now helps you explore your interests, build confidence in college-level work and get a head start on college and career planning.

Get Started
Start by talking with your high school teacher, counselor or your school’s RCC liaison. These staff members can help you decide if earning college credit is the right step for you. They can also explain the benefits of earning dual credit.

Admissions and Registration
College Now students will receive a paper application and registration form from their high school teacher. This form includes a self-guided placement that needs to be completed prior to receiving an RCC student ID number. Please be aware that forms submitted by students under the age of 18 will require a parent’s or guardian’s signature.

You are responsible for reading the College Now Handbook. This guide answers common questions and explains what to expect as you earn college credit in high school through RCC.
Keep the handbook as a reference throughout the year — it is a helpful place to find important information about policies, deadlines and program expectations. It also includes contact information so you know who to reach at RCC if you need help.
