Nicole Sakraida, Director of Admissions and Recruitment
Nicole loves college – the thrill of getting started, the endless social and academic opportunities, and the life-altering possibilities after graduation. She has worked in higher education since 2004, including positions in international education, study abroad, academic advising, career services, and housing and residential life.
Nicole has been with Rogue Community College since 2013 and is passionate about helping students succeed. She enjoys serving students in the Rogue Valley, where she grew up. As RCC's Assistant Director of Admissions & Recruitment since 2017, Nicole is excited to help ease the transition of going to college. She is also responsible for international student enrollment and hopes to support the international student community as she was once supported.
Nicole has a bachelor's degree in Spanish with a minor in sociology from Seattle University, and a master's degree in education from Universidad San Francisco de Quito (USFQ), Ecuador. She has lived in Mexico for one year, Ecuador for four years and Spokane, Wash., for six years. In her free time, Nicole enjoys salsa dancing, traveling and experiencing different cultures, cooking, playing games and spending time with family. She is bilingual in Spanish and enjoys speaking it when she has the chance.
