Services Available

Audio and Video Conferencing

Audio and video conferencing are available for classes and meetings. Priority scheduling is given to classes with meetings available as time and space permits.

Classes to be broadcast via interactive video require advanced preparation. Planning should begin well in advance of the term in which the course will be offered. The planning process should include the faculty member teaching the course, the department head, and director of Instructional Media.

Meetings involving audio or video conferencing should be scheduled at least 24 hours in advance via 25Live. If you do not receive confirmation of your event, please follow up with an email to [email protected]

Laminating

Lamination is available to all faculty and staff. All materials must be for classroom or college use. The maximum width is 26 inches with no limit to length. An RCC Media work request form should be filled out when materials are dropped off at the media center. (This service is unavailable at TRC.)

Projects can be dropped off Monday through Thursday at the Media Center.  All work will be done on Friday and available for pick-up the next Monday. Large projects may be subject to delays.

Special Event Equipment Delivery

The following media equipment is available for faculty and staff use:

  • PA systems
  • Video conferencing carts
  • MP3 recorders

Schedule equipment needs at the media centers at least 24 hours before needed in the classroom or for meetings. For large events, at least 1 week notice is required; more than that is preferred.

Classroom Technology

Every classroom is equipped with a sound system, projector, and podium containing a PC, DVD/VCR, and document camera (modern/digital overhead projector). This equipment does not need to be requested through 25Live, since all classrooms already come equipped. If you need help using this equipment, please contact [email protected] to schedule an orientation.
