Payment to Students

Tuition, fees, and authorized non-institutional charges on your student account are deducted from the term’s financial aid before excess proceeds are disbursed to the student. Disbursements of excess proceeds are processed from RCC’s Office of Budget and Finance on Tuesdays and Thursdays starting the 14th day of the term. Disbursements of excess funds are not issued immediately following a term during which time academic progress is being evaluated.

First-time borrowers of a Federal Stafford Loan may not receive loan funds until at least 30 days into the term.

Rogue Community College is partnering with Higher One, Inc., a financial services company that specializes in getting college students their refunds fast.  Founded in 2000, Higher One provides higher education institutions and their students with efficient, convenient and easy-to-use solutions to handle financial disbursements. 

Through our partnership with Higher One, RCC will deliver refunds to financial aid students through the My One Money card. This card offers students more choice when it comes to receiving their financial aid refunds:

  • Same business day deposit to a Higher One checking account when funds are released by RCC to Higher One. Plus, account choices built for you.
  • Deposit to another account. Money in two to three business days. (Additional options vary by school.)
